The Moss Maiden
”Beware of her cunning nature – for she will sway you and lead you to certain death”
You have come upon this entry in the old annuals in your library. Its heading says: ”The Moss Maiden”.
Today a young boy reported that he had seen a naked woman in a forest lake. She was covered in algae and ooze and was playing with shiny pieces of gold while humming a beautiful melody.
The town sage informed you that this might be one of the infamous moss maidens and then you started searching for relevant information in your library.
”They are said to have gold in abundance with which they lure non-suspecting people. They then ensnare their victims with their voices and finally drain them of their lives. Only people with strong minds may withstand the tantalising melodies.
Perhaps this could be a proper test for one of your hopefuls?
So bravery and inteligence seem the way to go.

Have this quest this week.
Are there others with some pointers about this quest.
With 9 in both Int and Bra I would have expected more than 17 shields on level 1.

Well, I took a chance on this quest. I sent this Dwarf: Strength 5 Dexterity 11 Intelligence 8 Leadership 6 Bravery 12 Toughness 10 Swiftness 8 SoA 60 Morale Soaring 6 shields at level 3 where I had hoped for 8 shields. He was successful none the less and gained the title Adventurer

Only 6 because int is too low,i guess.

Yeah, I think you are right regarding the intelligence. Higher intelligence would have given more shields.

Your hero will need high intelligence and bravery. When she is close enough she will launch an attack and try to bite him but if your hero can handle the challenge he will strike her to the ground with a single blow. I hope this helps...

I recently got 15 shields on level 3 with this human:
Strength 6
Dexterity 17
Intelligence 15
Leadership 14
Bravery 14
Toughness 15
Swiftness 14
Dexterity might have something to say eventhough I would maintain that this is primarily a mental test... Perhaps the race of your hero had an impact - or could his morale have been low?

my one was lower on leadership, with dex same as yours :)
maybe race was important i had dwarf ... honestly i am lost ... while I also have hero who has similar high int + lead + human, so i would have to get more black shields, but max was 8 - still uncomparable to your ... 15
morale was ok ...
no idea what should be there ...
