The Experiment
"Greetings, my name is Xurg Lugtu. I am performing an experiment. I will make a potion which will increase the mental powers of everyone who drinks it. For this potion I will need the blood from a particularly potent man. I have found Moifur Giran to be perfectly suited for this. Please let me draw some blood from him. I will give you 50 gold and even make him taste it in return."

Moifur Giran reluctantly lays down and has his blood drawn. The rest of the day he feels dizzy and ill but at nighttime Xurg Lugtu comes to him with a small sample of the potion. He drinks it and experiences the wonders of the potion.
