One of your messengers was supposed to collect some tax gold out of town. On his way back home with the gold, he travelled across the plains of Trispar. He heard a faint humming in the distance and saw massive black clouds on the horizon. The clouds were in motion and came closer and closer. At first the messenger just wondered at the strange phenomenon, but he was struck with fear as he realised the clouds were alive. Locusts! It only took a few more moments before the small creatures were everywhere devouring everything. The messenger was struck with panic. He threw the bag with the gold and ran as fast as he could. He just barely escaped.

But what about the gold? You have to get it back, so perhaps you should send one of your heroes? But he has to move fast! The locusts may still be roaming the plains.

Seems like dex ( or swiftness? locusts can be a some sort of arrows for type of attack) and bravery for avoiding panic...what do you say?

I'm gonna go with swiftness and bravery myself. I could understand it if toughness was factor (the locusts are trying to eat your hero), but I see no reason why intelligence or dexterity should be important.

I guess we'll find out monday.

If bravery is important, i will wonder how he obtain 19 sh with a 4 br hero...i was thinking dex because in the quest text there is a need of running...

by the way i have decided to send my elite hero, and i wanna also try the lv2 quest:)

Got 20/20 on this one with:
Dex 5
Brav 6
Swift 11
Tough 3

... doesn't seem like toughness is the winner here ;-)

Then how come I got 20/20 with this one?

Strength 3 Bravery 6
Dexterity 3 Toughness 4
Intelligence 3 Swiftness 8
Leadership 3

Edit: Swiftness has something to with speed, while dexterity is more the ability to move skillfully. I would assume that swiftness would be used for running. Did you really get 20/20 on a level 2 quest?

I can't understand why my hero failed. He only lost 10 Hp before he turned around and returned crying. And he has 7 in bravery, so that should be enough for a level 1 quest... Boo hoo!

There isn't a 'right' number for an attribute...it's only a matter of probabilities...if is possible to fail with 20 shields, imagine with 18...

Btw i have resolved this quest ,at lv2 with 20 shields...outcome 158gold :d/

I know it's probabilities, and I understand the reason why it's possible to fail. It's just frustrating because I really needed that gold, and I can see everyone else did good on this quest, even on level 2 quest.
