”Noble Lord HangTuah. I am Harfram Belodrim, a merchant from the south. I currently live in Brockdale where I have a small shop at the bazaar. I am a collector of rare items and I am currently on the lookout for a wyvern’s egg. I happen to know that your great village lies not far from the forest of Izaga and rumours tell of wyverns hovering over said forest. Now is the brooding season for wyverns and if you could get me an egg from a wyvern I would be willing to pay its weight in gold. Bring the egg to my shop, Harfram’s Tools and Trinkets to claim the reward. Regards, HB”.

You sure could use some extra gold but getting to a wyvern’s nest is truly challenging and very dangerous. Stealing eggs from a nesting wyvern sounds like a suicide mission. Do you have any heroes daring and skilled enough to handle such a difficult task?

has anyone got this quest? pls share something.. i'm considering bra, int and dex.. any other thoughts?

Modedit: no full texts for the solution of quests, please, keep it to hints!

Success
Hero Harigolin Dranarick
Level 3 (1189/3000) Strength 7 Bravery 6 Dexterity 7 Toughness 8 Intelligence 4 Swiftness 6 Leadership 2

I would say that more intelligence than the hero I used would prob raise your chances somewhat..

Yes i think int it's the primary skill required (the idea of the bait) and the 5 black shields are surely related to an hero of yours with more int.

But i guess also dex can be useful for climbing the tree...

Thanks for the info;)

Dex doesn't seem too important. Bravery and intelligence must be the most important.

Just a note based on the heroes involved above: Both with high number of shields have high leadership - does that somehow count? Can you persuade wyverns? No... Persuade someone else to get the egg for you? No... Hm... Probably a coincidence then.

Funny. Somehow, the hero which I sent and succeeded (16/20 shields at level 1) has leadership as his highest stat.

Race Dwarf
Strength 8
Dexterity 8
Intelligence 8
Leadership 10
Bravery 8
Toughness 4
Swiftness 3
Morale Soaring

And is there any as to why this should have an effect? I'm sending a guy with leadership for this one. I have one who's similar to the on sent by Ullandon - I hope he'll do as well as his/her hero did. [In danish Ulla is a female - but, you never know]

I guess there is a big difference in which race you send on the quest. I am supprised that we didn't get at least the same amount of shields.

I'm surplussed. I sent this guy and got 11 shields on a level 3 quest. Where is my hero worse? He was soaring when he left? I mean - there's a long way from 18 to 11 shields...? Did you send him on a level 3 or only level 2 quest Ullandon?

Ahh... I forgot to check the date of the thread and simply assumed that a like case was a like case.

I hope my girlscout Adand Hermolaos can pull it off anyway.
